The Men's Club Lacrosse team traveled to Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, OH on Saturday to take on the Cougars. The Cougars Varsity Men's Lacrosse program is set to join the Heart of America Athletic Conference that competes in the NAIA for the 22-23 season. The Falcons came out with a lot of energy early, scoring the first goal of the game which proved to be their only lead of the afternoon. Mount Vernon's Depth wore down the defense down. The Falcons compete level stayed high, and they battled to a 21-5 final.
"No team wants to have the turnout we had today, however, we now know what we need to do to correct the errors we made during the game. Moving into the week, just make sure the focus and intensity are there during practices." Defensive Captain Kyle Hehmeyer from Powell, OH said about the loss.

The Falcons play host this Saturday (Oct. 22) in what will be a tripleheader. The Falcons open against Akron University at 11:00 AM. Followed by The University of Toledo vs The University of Akron at 1:00 PM. The third game will see your Falcons take on The University of Akron at 3:00 PM. All games will be hosted at The Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
