The 2025 fall season for Bowling Green State University Lacrosse was a fantastic start, finishing a perfect 6-0. This is the first time BGSU has gone undefeated in the fall. This remarkable achievement was the culmination of hard work, grit, and teamwork, and sets the stage for a deep playoff run in the spring.
The Falcons were dominant throughout the fall, opening with a monster 20-0 win over Ball State. The offense thrived with goals from almost everyone on the Falcon offense, while the defense shut out Ball State. The Battle of I-75 was a gritty fight from start to finish, with the Rockets jumping out to an early lead. BGSU regrouped at halftime and came back to win the game 14-9.
A week later, BGSU defeated last year's NCLL (National College Lacrosse League) Midwest Region Champions, Kent State, avenging the loss of the championship game, proving they will be clear contenders at the top of the region. The Falcons would then go on the road for their next 3 games, outscoring their opponents by a combined 42 to 4. Offensively firing on all cylinders, putting up massive points. The defense held strong, only allowing 4 goals across 3 games.
Junior
Rylan Williams described the season as "electric." BGSU will continue this momentum into the spring season.
