The Bowling Green State University Club Golf team has a new home for year-round practice and improvement - The Weaver Family Golf Facility. This state-of-the-art indoor training center provides players with cutting-edge technology, comfortable lounge space, and the perfect environment to refine their skills both on and off the course.
Elevating the Game with Trackman Technology
At the heart of the facility is the Trackman Room, where players can access the Trackman Launch Monitor 4.0 - a premier golf analysis tool used by professionals worldwide. With access to hundreds of virtual courses, a driving range mode, and interactive games, players can track their progress and fine-tune their swings. The Trackman Combine feature also allows players to evaluate their proficiency with every club in their bag, offering invaluable insight into their strengths and areas for improvement.
Sharpening Short Game and More
For those looking to master their putting, the Putting Area features five different holes, allowing for putts of up to 30 feet. The Bushnell Launch Pro, a secondary launch monitor, provides additional driving range capabilities, interactive games, and other practice modes to help players develop precision and consistency. This highly portable system allows for flexible use throughout the facility.
A Home Away from Home
Beyond its training capabilities, the new facility is designed with student-athletes in mind. The Player's Lounge offers a welcoming space for team members to relax, work on homework, or grab a quick bite before class. With a large sofa couch, barstool seating, a fully stocked fridge, and snack area, the lounge provides the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for busy student-athletes.
Secure Storage and Exclusive Access
The facility is equipped with 24 lockers, giving players a secure place to store their clubs, shoes, and other golf accessories. With key card access restricted to BGSU Club Golf members, players can feel confident in the security of their gear. The facility is open during Perry Field House hours, ensuring players have access when they need it most.

Tryouts will be held on March 16th at Stone Ridge Golf Club, with tee times beginning at 12:00 PM. To register, participants must submit a $25 payment via Venmo to President Max Weaver (@Maxwellweaver) to secure their spot on the course.
