The Women's Falcon Hockey team is on fire this season, rewriting the record books with an incredible seven game winning streak, which is the longest in program history. What started as a strong opening stretch has turned into something special, as the players continue to find ways to win big games in big ways. 

Junior Mia Hansen says that "It's been incredible to watch our team grow. We work hard and to see that finally pay off by breaking our programs record for win streaks by going 7-0 is just amazing. We've become one of those teams our competitors have to worry about, which for us is a very good thing." 

From the first drop of the puck this season, the Falcons have shown grit, focus, and chemistry on and off the ice. They've been able to secure big wins thanks to clutch goals, disciplined goaltending, and relentless effort from every player. Each win has built up energy and momentum that can be felt on and off the ice, and now this Falcon team is making history. 

Falcons Head Coach Steve Dibble says "The women's hockey team has really hit their stride this season. In our league, winning eight out of nine games is always impressive and that includes winning against a school, the likes and size of Michigan State. We are getting contributions from everyone up and down the lineup." He goes on to state that "We have upperclassmen who came into the season and grasped leadership roles that have inspired team unity, and they have done a great job leading the way on and off the ice. We've also gotten some significant contributions from a strong freshman class and some returning players that are really statistically hitting their stride and making significant contributions in their own way. We have something good going with this team that has started turning heads in our league. This team is doing some great things!"
 
 For this team, the record is about more than just numbers, rather, it's proof of how far the Women's Falcon Hockey program has come. With seven straight wins marking a new chapter in the program's history, this Falcon team isn't done yet. With more games ahead, their focus remains on improvement and taking this momentum into the second half of their season.
