This past weekend, BGSU Curling traveled to Calumet, MI, to take on the 2025 Huskies Bonspiel, hosted by the Huskies Curl at Michigan Tech. With a 10 and a half hour drive, BGSU was expected to come ready to play with a match the same night as their travel day. Team members and Varsity Starters

Katie Schultz all made sure to bring their A-game in the trek to the Upper Peninsula.
After 6 ends, BGSU took down Wisconsin Steven's Point, 13-0, proving the 625-mile ride was no issue for them. With a potential to play in the championship with a win against Minnesota, BGSU Curling handled business, settling the score at 10-5.
Facing a powerhouse in University of Wisconsin-Madison, BGSU had their work cut out for them in the final. Matching up in the A-Event Final on sunday morning at 10:30, Wisconsin-Madison gave no issue to your Falcons.
BGSU secured the victory and the tournament with a 10-0 win over Wisconsin, showcasing their ability to hang with any team not just in the Midwest, but across the nation.
Coming up, BGSU travels to Hartland, WI, for the Midwest Regional Championship at the Kettle Moraine Curling Club, where they will face off against marquee, nationally contending teams across the Midwest. Looking to continue their momentum, BGSU carries forward the strength of their team, but needs all the support they can get from their fans.
