Men's Lacrosse Kicks Off Fall Ball in Columbus

The Falcons traveled south for a tripleheader at The Ohio State University to stretch out the legs, test some NCLL opponents, and give the massive freshman class their first runs for BGSU Lacrosse.

With the program nearly doubling in size from the past year, the Falcons now represent a plethora of new faces all over the field. Throughout the day the Falcons rotated both returning and first year players alike as they battled against OSU Grey, Kent State, and OSU Scarlett. While the deep roster fought hard, BGSU unfortunately finished the day with a record 0-3. Final scores included 7-10 (OSU Grey), 9-11 (Kent State), and 4-12 (OSU Scarlet).

Junior defender Ethan Damico had this to say about this past weekend, "We got better today. The final scores aren't too pretty but these kinds of games are important in the fall. In order to know what we have to work with in the spring we need to get everybody reps so in doing that today I think we took a big step towards being a contending team in the spring"

Next Up: The Falcons look to bounce back as they host University of Akron for their fall ball home opener on October 22nd at Bowling Green High School.
