The BGSU Club Baseball team finished their fall season after their doubleheader at Ball State on November 1st. They finished with a record of 2-8 and were 2-4 in league play.

The Falcons will look to improve in certain areas this offseason so they can hit the ground running in Panama City Beach during their annual spring break trip.

Some players were recognized by their teammates due to their outstanding performance in the fall. The following players were recognized for their achievements:

MVP: Jacob Rumberger

• Led the team in many offensive and pitching categories. Recorded 2 wins on the mound with a 2.00 ERA and led the team with a 1.182 OPS in 23 plate appearances.

Offensive Player: Caden Fickes

• Returned from injury as one of the team's best hitters. Hit .400 with 3 RBIs in 18 plate appearances.

Defensive Player: Robby Sykora

• Committed 0 errors in 18 chances in the field. Logged innings at 1B and in CF and RF.

Best Pitcher: Noah Grendzynski

• Logged 13.1 innings across 4 games. Also had a 1.50 WHIP to go along with 15 strikeouts.

Best Newcomer: Joe Lewis

• Led new players with a .421 batting average and logged 9 innings on the mound

• Exemplified the hard-working qualities of BG Club Baseball. Gave 100% effort all fall.

The Falcons return to practice in January. After a week in Panama City Beach from March 1-March 6, BG will travel to Toledo for a non-conference rivalry series.
