Dodgeball Takes on Akron Pink Out Tournament

The BGSU Club Dodgeball team is off to a very promising start this season after making history in the first tournament of the year.

For the first time in program history, the club has beaten GVSU, a team that is decorated with more National Championships than any other. With a starting roster made up of 10 out of 12 graduating students, this is the last year for many members of the team to make their mark and starting the season off with a historical win is a great start to that.

In the Akron Pink out, BGSU faced three formidable foes, each willing to give BGSU a run for their money. BGSU beat Akron B 6-0, lost to Akron 3-4, and lost to OU 3-4. The Falcons fought hard in Akron, but came up just short in two hard fought games against Akron and OU.

After two tournaments, the team is off to a 2-3 start, with all losses coming from the top 3 ranked teams in the league. This leaves the Falcons even more dedicated and determined to put the league on notice at our upcoming home tournament on November 2nd. Slated games for BGSU include Kent State University, Michigan State University, and Saginaw Valley State University.
