Women's Rugby Charlotte Stephan

Women's Rugby Extends Their Record to 2-0

On Saturday, September 21, the Women's Club Rugby team faced off against Ohio Wesleyan University Rugby Club. After a close game following the first half, the Falcons were ultimately able to extend their lead and hold the Battling Bishops to a final score of 75-22. The Falcons were led by sophomore Taylor Westrick who scored an outstanding five tries for the team. The victory wouldn't have been complete without the help of sophomores Sami Tripi and Jordyn Barr along with junior Vivian Novak who scored a combined six tries.

After a 2-0 start to the season, the Falcons hope to keep their winning streak alive as they head into their next game against Oakland University. This game will take place on Saturday, October 5, at BGSU's Roger Mazzarella Field at 12 pm.
