Bowling Green, Ohio - The BGSU Women's Club Rugby team would like to thank all of our family and friends who donated to our most recent fundraiser. As a team, we were able to raise an impressive $10,000. Your support will be able to help our growing program in countless ways.
The majority of the funding we raised will allow our team to cover our travel expenses, which include transportation and hotels. Your donations will help us to travel to our first NCR Collegiate Rugby Championship 7s Qualifier, the Great Lakes Conference, on February 22nd, hosted by Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. This will be our team's first opportunity to punch a return ticket to the National Collegiate Rugby Championship 7s Tournament from April 24th through the 26th at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Maryland.
Your donations will also help cover the cost of much-needed equipment for our club. These donations will help us with purchasing new uniforms. This will allow us to bring alternative uniforms to our large tournaments, such as our 7s Qualifiers and the National Tournament. This allows us the opportunity to have a secondary uniform for multi-day tournaments.
