On Saturday, October 14 the BGSU women's rugby team traveled to Saginaw Valley to play for breast cancer awareness.
SVSU's team and the Falcons honored one of the player's mothers who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Each player from both teams gave the mother a flower, creating two pink bouquets.
Bowling Green won 34-19. Taylor W., wing, scored 3 tries, Katie B., full back, scored 1 try, and Jane P., 8 man, scored 2 tries. Along with scoring a try, Katie was our kicker and made almost all of her kicks. During the game, Jordyn B., flanker, held up a try from the opposing team. Â
