The Men's Lacrosse team hosted The University of Toledo Rockets on Saturday. The I 75 Battle was dominated early by the Rockets who jumped out to an early lead. Toledo carried the play to a 7-3 lead at half time. The Falcons Director of Lacrosse Stu Smith made adjustments at half time and they started to see success at both ends of the field. The Falcons battled back to within one but the late charge wasn't enough and the Rockets won it 9-8.
Sophomore Ryan Gill lead the Falcons' offense in the second half scoring 4 goals. Ryan had this to say, "The team played great and is improving every week, looking forward to the spring season"
"A slow start was just too much for us to overcome but our second half adjustments showed what we are really capable of." Director of Lacrosse Stu Smith commented about the close loss. "We won the second half 5-2."
