The Women's Lacrosse team put up a strong fight against Xavier University this past weekend on Sunday October 23rd. Defense put up a strong front for our goalie who had some amazing saves. As a relatively new team there have been major improvements in cohesive play and communication between girls and we are excited to see further improvement in our November 5^th home game in the Doyt Stadium.

Abigail Williams, Freshmen Defender had this to say about the game, "Although we did not get the outcome we wanted, everyone played hard and really connected. After playing only one game together prior to the Xavier game, what more could we have asked for."
