We were able to get in touch with our new Women's Lacrosse coach, Sydney Skala, who had this to say about our season, 

     "This season was full of growth and memorable moments. We gained a  few new girls, some who had never played before, and it was incredible to watch them learn and grow. Returning players helped teach them the game, and practices were both productive and fun, especially during our Halloween practice and when we played with the boys' team. We had several team bonding nights that brought us closer and helped build strong friendships. We celebrated our four seniors with a special Senior Night to show how much we'll miss them. We also got new jerseys and bags, which made us feel even more like a team. All our hard work paid off when we made it to the playoffs, ending the season on a high note."

Also, Abby Robertson was able to provide us with a terrific quote on the season, 

    "To me, playoffs was a great experience! As a team, we sat down in the beginning of the season and made one of our goals to make it to Texas. We all knew it was a long shot, but something to keep in the back of our head, to keep us pushing as far as we can go in the season. Making playoffs didn't just mean a lot to me, but to our program as a whole, with it being over 5 years since we had been. I loved the atmosphere of it all. Getting to play on a turf field against good competition was all we could really ask for. During our game breaks and the drive up, we got to bond and make our friendships even longer lasting! The tourney felt like a chance to show that all of our hard work during the season payed off. Though not the outcome we had wanted, it was still a lot of progress for this season and has us all excited for what's to come next for our BGSU lacrosse program!!"
