The Bowling Green State University Men's Club Soccer team returns to the pitch at home Thursday for the Battle of I-75. The Falcons welcome their northern rivals in the Toledo Rockets, for the yearly contest to see who is the best on I-75. The contest will take place under the lights of Bowling Green High School at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 8th.
The Falcons are coming off a 2-2 draw to the Dayton Flyers after a hard-fought battle to the very end. Bowling Green is currently 1-2-1 on their season and ranked 91st according to the US College Club Soccer poll.
The Opponents
Toledo has not won a contest this season but has played teams like Ball State very close in which they tied 3-3. The Rockets have not defeated the Falcons as far back as our records show in Club Soccer.
Looking Ahead
The Falcons look to once again keep the Battle of I-75 back at Bowling Green and improve to a 2-2-1 record as they look ahead to a home match up against Notre Dame on Sunday.
