On the weekend of September 18-20, BGSU hosted the first-ever "Falcon Open," welcoming 11 teams to the tournament, including four of its own: BGSU Orange, BGSU Brown, BGSU White, and BGSU Black!

The weekend kicked off on Friday as BGSU Black fell to Toledo 15–24, while BGSU Brown topped BGSU White, 29–14. On Saturday, BGSU Orange dominated pool play with two victories, defeating Ohio University A, 30–8, before cruising past Ohio Northern, 30–6. Meanwhile, BGSU Black fought hard in a close pool play battle, falling just short to the University of Louisville B, 22–24.

Moving into Sunday's bracket play, BGSU Orange and BGSU Brown earned spots in the Gold Bracket, while BGSU White and BGSU Black competed in the Silver Bracket.

In the Gold Bracket, BGSU Orange received a first-round bye before ultimately dropping their match to Toledo in the semifinals, while BGSU Brown fought hard against Louisville A but fell just short. The two teams then faced off in a consolation match, where BGSU Orange claimed victory over BGSU Brown.

In the Silver Bracket, BGSU White lost to Ohio Northern, and BGSU Black dropped a nail-biter to Detroit Mercy by just a single game.

At the end of the weekend, Toledo captured the Gold Bracket title, and Detroit Mercy won the Silver Bracket.

Despite having to navigate time constraints, team lineup changes, and rainy conditions throughout the event, BGSU Club Tennis delivered a fantastic first tournament filled with great memories, laying a strong foundation to host the Falcon Open again in the future.
