The Bowling Green State University Club Swimming Team made a big splash at their home Senior Night Meet on October 17, 2025, at Cooper Pool. Hosting teams from the University of Toledo, Trine University, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and Hillsdale College, the Falcons showed depth and dominance throughout the meet. With more than 50 swimmers on the roster, BGSU fielded two squads—the Falcons Brown and Falcons Orange—giving even more athletes the opportunity to compete.
The Falcons won 19 out of 30 events, with the Brown team taking the top overall scores for both the men's and women's divisions. Standout performances came from
Arleigh Amspoker, who captured individual victories in the 50-yard freestyle and 50-yard backstroke, and
Dane Fazio, who led the men's team with individual wins in the 100 IM, 200 mixed IM, and 50-yard breaststroke. Other key contributors included
Kendall Freeworth and
Andrew Jipping, who each turned in multiple first-place finishes to help secure the team's strong showing.
Adding to the excitement,
Owen Becker achieved a national qualifying time at the meet, joining the five other Falcons who have already punched their tickets to the National Club Swimming Championships in April.
The Falcons compete next at the Regional meet on November 8 at Ohio State University. Follow their
