Women's Lacrosse Opens Fall Season at Home

BGSU Women's Lacrosse kicked off fall ball with a doubleheader at home against Kent State and Western Michigan. Their first game of the year with a lot of young faces was bound to be a challenge. The Falcons played as hard as they could and got acclimated to each other's play styles as the game went on. Even after a second half rally, Kent State came out on top with a final score of 5-10.

The women finally got settled in for their second game against Western Michigan, firing on all cylinders from start to finish. With an early lead of 9-2 at the half, the Falcons coasted through the closing portions of the game finishing with their first win of the season and a final score of 11-4.

Sophomore Captain Lydia Fields had this to say about their team's first action, "I thought that our first games were an amazing starting point to see where our team was at the beginning of the season. The girls worked hard and clearly love what they do and I think as we continue to practice, we will continue to grow as a team."
