This past weekend, the BG lady ruggers traveled to Allendale, MI to play against Grand Valley State University for the second time this semester. The game was a very aggressive hard-fought match. The Falcons came out on top winning with a score of 29-14. Scoring for the team was
Kaiden Sanchez, Allie Bentum,
Taylor Westrick,
Jordyn Barr, and
Vivian Novak. Completing conversion kicks for the team was
Taylor Westrick. Securing the win landed the ladies first in the Great Lakes Conference securing their spots for postseason matchups at regionals in Indianapolis. The team has repeatedly secured the conference title for the past three years.
Coming up on October 24, the ladies have a home matchup against the University of Pittsburgh for their senior day game. Make sure to come out and support our seniors and team in one of their last few regular season games.
