Allendale, Michigan – Bowling Green (1-1) secured their first win of the season away at Grand Valley State University. Captains Jordyn Barr and Vivian Novak combined for 20 pts to lead the Women's Rugby team out of Michigan with an impressive 58-22 victory.
The trip to Allendale, Michigan was well worth the drive. The women's team dominated on the field and defeated GVSU 58-22. 8-Man Alyssa Schwan led the Falcons for tries securing the teams second hattrick of the season. The Falcons had another four Falcons contribute to the scoring. Flanker Jordyn Barr, Center Sami Tripi, and Flyhalf Vivian Novak both contributed with a brace. Hooker Anna Wannemacher also contributed with a standalone try. Wing Taylor Westrick converted 4 of 10 attempts.
