On the weekend of March 8, the BGSU women's rugby team traveled to Bloomington, Indiana for the University of Indiana's Redstorm Rampage 7's tournament. The team played a total of 5 games throughout the tournament.

    The women's first game was a hard-fought loss against Kent State University. Next, the ladies took on Indiana University Indianapolis and defeated the team. After a short break, the women then took on Indiana University's A side and fought hard but unfortunately fell short. The women after that played and defeated Indiana University's B side. This then ensured the ladies would have one more game for placement.

    In this game, the women played Indiana University's B side again and won to obtain 3rd place in the tournament. Though the women may have taken a few losses at the tournament, these games allowed the women to find areas of improvement for the team. The competition at the tournament also allowed the women to experience some of difficulty in playing they will see at Nationals later in the season.

    The ladies' next game is on March 22, 2025, against the Cleveland Iron Maidens. This is a shift from regular 7s play this season and will be a 15s game similar to what the women see in the fall.
