Men's Soccer has a split weekend against Dayton and Wright State

The BGSU Men's Club Soccer team was on the road this past weekend traveling to Dayton and Wright State. The Falcons ended up splitting the games. The Falcons had a tough loss against Dayton on Saturday, losing 8-2.

According to Sophomore Landon Brooks, "The game against Dayton was not the result we were looking for, but it taught us a lot about ourselves. It showed us our weaknesses and what we need to improve on as individuals and as a team. In the first half against Dayton, we looked very tired and slow, but we picked it up in the second half to score 2 goals and improve our style of play."

On Sunday, BGSU bounced back with a 5-3 victory over Wright State. Brooks states, "In the game against Wright State, I was very happy with the team's performance and proud of how we bounced back after the game the previous day. We were a lot more clinical in the final third of the field and kept positive attitudes when the game wasn't going our way. Our goal is to keep improving from here and continue to grow as a team so that we can finish out the season with some wins."

The team will continue their season on Sunday, September 29 vs Indiana University at 5 PM on the practice fields at BGSU.
