BGSU Water Polo hosted Wayne State University on November 16th, in a match that was controlled by Wayne State, ending with BGSU coming up short, 7-14. As their season opener, the Water Polo club is optimistic for their upcoming spring schedule and look forward to the challenges that lay ahead. When asked to summarize their thoughts on the match and provide an idea of how they feel their season will play out, Sophomore
Carson Barclay provided this direct quote.
"The BGSU Club Water Polo team had a great kick off to our season this year with our first game against Wayne State. The whole team played great for our first game and although it was a hard one everyone played great, and the team shows a lot of potential for the upcoming semester, and we will be working hard at practice until then!"
With the first game of the season in the rear view, BGSU Water Polo looks to capitalize on their experience and learn how to improve.
