BGSU Men’s Club Soccer Reflects on Season of Growth and Resilience After Tough Loss to Purdue

On October 20th, BGSU Men's Club Soccer sealed a tough 5-0 loss to Purdue which marked the end of their season. It was a tough pill to swallow as the team states that they are proud of their growth as a team this season, but feels that their record did not reflect the amount of heart and soul they put into the 2024-2025 season. Yet, amid the sting of defeat, the men's team holds an undercurrent of pride—pride in growth, resilience, and potential to put forth for the upcoming season.

Jonathan Sayer states, "We have a very strong squad and look forward to proving that we have what it takes to compete at the highest level."

The coaching staff's dedication did not go unnoticed this season either. The Men's Soccer team greatly appreciates their coaches Ryan James and Stu Riddle as they balanced a demanding schedule while nurturing these young athletes, investing their time and expertise into a program they believed in wholeheartedly.

As an organization, BGSU Men's Club Soccer look forward to continuing growing their club and investing in its future.
