On September 28-29, the Hillsdale College John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center, in collaboration with Springfield Armory, hosted the inaugural United States Practical Shooting Association Collegiate Championship at the Ailes Action Shooting Range.

Cole Whittaker, a MBA graduate student at BGSU competed at this event, where he delivered a remarkable performance.  Cole placed first in both the high overall limited division and high overall combined. He competed against 15 colleges from across the country, including the US Naval Academy and top-ranked Hillsdale College.

"I deeply appreciate Bowling Green State University's support—it made it possible for my team and me to be part of this wonderful experience. I also want to extend my gratitude to Hillsdale College for hosting such a fantastic event and for their efforts in growing the sport at the collegiate level. I'm excited to see the continued growth of this sport within college communities and look forward to the future successes of the BGSU Action Shooting Team," said Whittaker.
