Matt Jones

Matthew is from Columbus, Ohio where he ran cross country and played lacrosse at Lincoln High School before attending Bowling Green State University, graduating in 2026 with a degree in accounting. Jones has coached lacrosse at the youth and high school levels, and outside of lacrosse he is currently pursuing his Master of Accountancy at BGSU.

After moving to Bowling Green as a freshman Jones began coaching at the youth level with a local program, Anthony Wayne. After three years, he joined the Bowling Green High School boy’s lacrosse coaching staff in the spring of 2025 and will be leading the Bobcats for the first time this upcoming spring season. In addition to his time as a boy’s lacrosse coach, Jones also assists the Compound Lacrosse girl’s travel programs.

Matthew is looking forward to returning to the Men’s Lacrosse team as a coach and looks forward to building on what he started as a player four years ago.
