Anthony Torello

Anthony grew up in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania where he played both football and lacrosse at Kennett High School before attending Ursinus College, graduating in 2016 with a degree in Physics. Torello has coached lacrosse at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels. Outside of lacrosse, he works as a Construction Manager for RJP Consulting Group.

Anthony graduated from Kennett High School in 2012 as the school’s all-time leader in ground balls. He went on to play Long Stick Midfield for Ursinus College for the next 4 years where he helped the team reach the conference championship and the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament in 2015 followed by another conference championship appearance in 2016. Upon graduating from Ursinus, Anthony began coaching at the youth level with NXT Lacrosse Club in Conshohocken, PA. From there, he moved down to Asheville, NC where he assisted TC Roberson’s lacrosse team to their first undefeated regular season, a conference championship, and a state playoff run in 2021. He then moved to Alabama where he worked with the University of Alabama’s club lacrosse team for 3 seasons. Torello arrived at BGSU in 2025 after his wife, Chelsi Carter, was brought on as an assistant coach with the BGSU volleyball team.

Anthony is excited to be working with the Men’s Lacrosse team and looks forward to continuing to build upon an already strong culture.
