BGSU Men's rugby quickly bounced back from last week's narrow loss to Ohio State. The Falcons ran roughshod over the Jaguars with a pair of 66-5 and 28-0 victories.
Senior lock & vice Captain Zach Szepiela had a career game, scoring three tries - all in the first half - and center Joey Apel made eight of his ten conversion kicks for 16 points to account for thirty one of BG's final total.
Flanker Jake Eicholtz added a pair of tries while eight man Phil Tracy, lock Connot Truitt, scrum half Griffin Wilson, lock James Demotropolis and hooker Kosta Anderson chipped in a try apiece.
This week the Falcons travel to South Bend, Indiana to take on University of Notre Dame at 5:15pm. The game marks the 50th anniversary of a 6-4 victory by the Falcons over the then National Champion Irish.
