Scott, a native of York, Pennsylvania, started his soccer career playing for a team in his local township. He joined his first competitive club team called FC York in 2011. Throughout high school, Scott played for his varsity team in Red Lion, PA. From 2014-2015, he made a jump to play with the DC United Academy out of Washington, DC. which led into playing soccer for Duquesne University (Pittsburgh, PA) from 2015-2019.
"I love the game of soccer for so many reasons. The most important is the team. Even though individual skill is one of the beautiful parts on the sport, it takes every person doing their job on and off the field to be successful. The team is like a family, no matter the situation, you’re always there for and working for the person next to you."
As Scott was finishing college, he felt like he had to be doing something related to soccer. The natural progression was to begin his coaching journey. "Soccer has given me so much over the course of my life and now coaching gives me that chance to share that others and help people grow in soccer as well as grow as people."
Since April 2020, Scott has been the GK coach for the BGSU Women’s Soccer team. His other duties include helping a bit with the recruiting and organizing our ID and residential camps. Additionally, he has been coaching at Pacesetter Soccer Club out of Sylvania, OH since July 2020.
