Started playing hockey in 1976, have been playing ever since, currently the co-captain of the Toledo Fire Hockey team, started coaching in 1991 as a junior high assistant football coach at Anthony Wayne middle school where we won 1 championship and 2 runners-up, coached youth soccer for Sylvania Rec as a head coach for 2 years with 2 runner-up seasons, coached Sylvania youth football for 2 seasons with 2 runner-up seasons, coached Sylvania youth baseball, 3 years of coaching varsity football for Sylvania Southview High School, head varsity coach for Maumee High School hockey for 1 season, coached house hockey in Sylvania, learn2play hockey clinics, as well as coaching firefighters for the ESPN firefighter combat challenge.Â

Goals as a BGSU Women’s Hockey coach: would like to build the program into a strong competitive team where our roster numbers are steady and constantly growing. In the future, would like to see a possibility of the women’s program becoming an NCAA program, also enjoys the opportunity to teach student athletes the tools goals and responsibilities needed in life after college and their college hockey careers are finished through sport.
